SUPASPAN

Quality is the hallmark of a lasting reputation in building and construction. If you realise this, then the SUPASPAN range is for you.

BUILT TO LAST. For the builder who puts quality first

In today’s competitive world, there will always be ways to cut corners and save on cost but the phrase ‘they don’t build them like they used to’ was created for good reason.

The imported structural products on the market are designed to be fit for purpose but they are generally created from soft woods that have a fraction of the nail retention, compression and beauty of GoodWood SUPASPAN. These are some of the reasons the best builders prefer GoodWood SUPASPAN.

Whats in the SUPASPAN Range?

SUPA17: Solid pieces of Victorian Ash that are naturally strong and beautiful. The mechanical properties are known to span even further than traditional F17. Available in set length or random length up to 5.4m long in all sizes of 35 & 45mm thick.

SUPALAM: Engineered solid sections of SUPA17 to give you the nail holding benefits of solid Victorian Ash combined with set length long and straight finished product. Available in all 35 & 45mm thicknesses up to 7.2m long. SUPALAM uses Purbond polyurethane D4 glue which is rated for external use. It has zero formaldehyde, is third party audited for quality through Monash University and the GLTAA (Glue Laminated Timber Association of Australia).

SUPALAM Sub Deck (IRON ASH F17): treated to H3 classification and with a 25 year Guarantee externally above ground, SUPALAM bearers and joists have superior nail holding ability for use with durable timber decks. SUPALAM spans further than treated pine which means far less stumps need to be used. In fact, a deck of 7200mm x 4800mm in SUPASPAN requires only 16 stumps vs a deck in treated F7 pine which requires 40! Do the math on time, price and quality and we think you’ll change the way you build a deck.

SUPACHORD: Engineered solid sections of SUPA17 to give you the nail holding benefits of solid Victorian Ash combined with set length long and straight finished product. Available in 35mm thickness up to 7.2m long. SUPACHORD uses Purbond polyurethane D4 glue which is rated for external use. It has zero formaldehyde, is third party audited for quality through Monash University and the GLTAA (Glue Laminated Timber Association of Australia). SUPACHORD uses a joint configuration which is specifically engineered for trusses. This product is tested for tension and load.

SUPAStud and SUPAPlate: Engineered to be a straight alternative to traditional studs, our studs will not warp meaning installation is quick and strong! Plus they’re third party audited for quality.

Tile Battens: Rough sawn Victorian Ash which is cut directly from the un-dried timber. It is long, will not sag like pine and is straight.
