For those of you who might not know, we’ve released a brand new (and very affordable) product to the engineered flooring market!
Before the big reveal, we surveyed all segments of the industry – including wholesalers, designers, re-sellers, builders, manufacturers and DIY’ers to find out what the market wants. Simply by filling in the survey, recipients were automatically entered into our gold class competition.
We’d like to congratulate the winner, Diane Bayley from Pasco Design! By taking 10 minutes out of her day, Diane walked away with 2 x Gold Class Village Cinema tickets – enjoy the movie Diane!
Conducting a survey was for the purpose of finding how our product would fill a gap in the market. The survey gave us some interesting intel about who is the primary decision makers are and what is most important to each segment – this ranged anywhere from appearance to price to durability. Unexpectedly, we received added suggestions from recipients to assist in the growth of this new product.
After an intensive analysis of the survey, we confidently introduced our Australian Oak Flooring to the market. The first of it’s kind, Australian Oak Flooring is an engineered wide board with hardwood ply and balanced construction. It’s naturally blonde in colour, has stunning crown cut grain, a very durable coating and is perfect to match with our other products that you already use and trust.
This beautiful blonde product is available for distribution now, with an exciting range of colours to come!
Daniel Wright, Marketing Manager at ASH delves more into the benefits of Australian Oak Flooring “We’ve matched the desired back sawn (swirly) grain of European Oak for appeal but added an Australian signature. The result is a floor of unmatched aesthetic charm. It is available in both Select grade appearance and Fearure grade appearance – so the consumer can choose the one they prefer rather than a mix of both”.
Australian Oak Flooring has hit the market strong and is available in a popular 190mm x 15mm or 160mm x 15mm wide board. These boards are very hard wearing and finished in 7 coats of a blonde coloured UV oil for a beautiful appearance. Australian Oak Flooring is extremely affordable and available from our distribution network throughout Australia.
