It gives us so much pleasure to announce that Australian Oak wide board flooring is finally available!
What is it?
Australian Oak wide board flooring is the brain child of a working partnership between Oslek Flooring and ASH. Oslek Flooring have been manufacturing and distributing high quality, wide board European Oak flooring for many years and are best known for their service, quality and ability to stay ahead of the game. Their international involvement ensures they are often well ahead of flooring trends, colours and finishes but this time the international market will get something back – our flooring.
What sizes are there?
Choose from pre-finished 190 x 15 with a 4mm or 2mm wear layer wide boards.
The 4mm wear layer guarantees a lifetime of quality by allowing the owner to sand and polish multiple times throughout life as fashions change. The crown cut timber is bonded to a cross ply for stability and coated using new LED technology. The flooring is PEFC controlled for third party environmental certification.
Why engineered flooring?
Engineered flooring has soared in popularity due to its stability and functionality. An engineered floor can be floated over an existing floor or glued to a substrate for quick installation on floors, walls and ceilings to lift the appeal of any room. Australian Oak wide board flooring is the perfect fit for the designer who wishes to have continuous flow of feature in a home. Match your floor or walls to the windows, doors, cabinetry or even your cladding and pergolas (refer to the IronAsh for external timber range).
The first production of Australian Oak wide board flooring has been produced in a clear matte finish to highlight the grain and character of our beautiful species but Australian Oak is naturally blonde, dense and takes a stain VERY well – lending its appeal to every taste. No longer will you have to choose between an engineered European Oak boards and a solid timber Australian floor, you should have the best of both worlds in what is our international quality, pre-finished flooring.
