On Monday 21st September 2015, Live Life Foundation held a fundraising golf event of which Australian Sustainable Hardwoods (ASH) were a Silver donating sponsor.
The fundraiser was held in the morning at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club and all areas of the local timber industry were represented as we reached deep into our pockets to raise funds and awareness for children living with neuromuscular disease.
The Live Life Foundation is officially registered as a fundraiser with The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Melbourne. Our customer for a range of Victorian ash products and Founder of the live Life Foundation, Perry Sambor, has always felt a sincere and personal connection to families facing the challenges that are associated with disability. His long term dream is to provide a respite facility that offers support for patients, families and those that care for children living with disabilities. More recently, in order that the support achieved by the Live Life Foundation have maximum impact, Perry and the Live Life Foundation has nominated the Children’s Neuroscience Centre, specifically the Neuromuscular Clinic, at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne led by Director – Associate Professor Andrew Kornberg, as the initial beneficiary for funds raised
