The hotel was conceptualised by the idea of creating a ‘home’, like a treasured friend who welcomes you into their sanctuary. The space is enriched with those leaving stories behind, further enhanced by the interior’s richness within every room.
Arent & Pyke, the designers behind this project drew their inspiration from ‘a reflection of the ethos of the Alex Hotel, representing a commitment to the daily rituals of our lives to rest, feed and nourish.’
The building is wrapped in steel and GOODWOOD Victorian Ash framing that compliments the black and white concrete panels. A mix of materials that praises one another in this cohesive design.
To ensure the story continues to flow, GOODWOOD Victorian Ash was used for the timber mullion detail on the interior window framing. Emphasising the harmonious look throughout the entire hotel.
