In the heart of Brisbane’s CBD is the ever so stylish Pablo & Rusty’s. It’s the cash-free, stress-free café designed by the talented interior designers Larritt-Evans.
Larritt-Evans are a Melbourne based design office who ‘loves big ideas and small details’. Originally approached by Saxon Wright to design this hip, inner city café, the design team derived their inspiration from this cashless café concept.
“Pablo & Rusty’s is a totally cashless café – the first of this kind in Australia and a test venture for the brand, and we wanted to reflect this streamlined service with a streamlined design. Clean lines of Woodform’s Concept Click was the base for the palette of Victorian ash, zinc, white architectural render and concrete” as explained by Claire at Larritt-Evans.
The designers wanted to create a strong visual feature within the space, whilst keeping a clean aesthetic. They chose to use Woodform’s Concept Click product with our GOODWOOD Victorian Ash timber. Claire explained that the “Concept Click allowed us to creatively clad the walls, bulkheads and tie in the acoustic properties of the product as there were a number of hard reflective surfaces throughout”.
GOODWOOD Victorian Ash is the perfect timber for WoodForm’s Concept Click because it is easy to stain, versatile and dead straight.
