When you have a stunning view, you want to make the most of it by choosing large glazing units – but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice comfort!
GoodWood Victorian ash was the preferred choice for the client as the timber is naturally strong and therefore can be made into large units. hence, the giant lift-slide doors above.
This means that fewer dividers were necessary which ensures the view has the least number of obstructions.
The windows and doors were spray painted on the exterior to a grey colour to suit the architecture.
On the inside, windows and doors were clear lacquered to enhance the honey coloured warmth of Victorian ash.
Living on the edge of the Bass Strait means strong and mostly cold winds.
