Each processing operation within Australian Sustainable Hardwoods is managed by long term, highly skilled wood manufacturers
Each processing operation within Australian Sustainable Hardwoods is managed by long term, highly skilled wood manufacturers who pride themselves on quality and best practise. Our quality assurance covers all aspects of the operation:
Timber is created using proven best practice drying techniques, internal scanning, straight line edge, gauged thickness and properly graded
The laminating operation is manufactured by hand & eye laminating for best visual outcome, and double checking
The automated laminating operation makes use of a luminescence in the glue which, before curing, is used to identify optimum glue quantities and an option for fault docking areas that are not up to our standard.
Both of our high tech finger jointing lines also have a luminescence in the un-cured glue which, when held under black light, are able to identify correct application levels.
The reprocessing facility uses highly trained staff who allow the opportunity to remove any un-wanted characteristics found while reprocessing timber. A job that a machine cannot do.
All of our laminating, finger jointing, health and safety and sustainability practices are third party audited for proof of quality and fit for purpose. These are carried out by the GLTAA, Monash University and SAI Global to name a few
